The right to enroll at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Tuzla have citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have completed a four-year high school in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as candidates who have completed high school outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and for whom after the procedure nostrification i.e. equivalency determined to have completed appropriate secondary education. Candidates with a four-year secondary vocational school also have the right to enroll, if they have obtained supplementary education in general education subjects in a gymnasium or secondary technical and related school, for which they attach appropriate proof. Unemployed/dependent persons have the right to enroll in regular studies.
At the beginning of the summer semester, the NNV of the faculty at its regular session considers the enrollment policy according to market demands (expressed through the decree of the employers’ association), the available space of the Faculty/University and the personnel base at the disposal of the Faculty. The number of candidates per study program, the distribution of candidates by type of study (full-time, self-financed), as well as the number of places for foreign students are considered.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Tuzla considers the employability of its graduates, through the state of unemployed mechanical engineers who are looking for employment for the first time, which is managed by the Tuzla Canton Employment Office. Based on all these criteria, a decision is made on the number of candidates for each study program, taking into account the passing rate of students from year to year.
The decision on the number of candidates in each study program, in the I, II and III cycle of studies is submitted to the Senate of the University for further action, the approval of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Tuzla Canton and the announcement of a Public Competition for the admission of students.
